Christmas inspiration sketch

So over Christmas I was set an illustration work to design a garment inspired by Tiffany lamps (my choice out of a selection). I love the shapes and colours on Tiffany lamps so I thought I could get a lot of creative ideas from it. 

This is the Tiffany love which I chose I love the blue colours blended in with the greens. 

This was my design front and back. The shape of the skirt is a representation of the shape of the lamp. I used a high neck top with an open back including pleats to represent the sectioned shapes on the lamp. I finally in-cooperated the colours of the lamp using tones of blue greens and greys. I used water colours as I wanted it to look like a basic sketch until I add a background which I will upload more images of.
